To use the McDonald-Kreitman test to determine whether selection is occuring in the 6-phosphogluconate dehydrogenase, decarboxylating (gnd) gene, we need a new dataset. Gather sequences from strains of Mycobacterium tuberculosis (there seem to be 4-5 in GenBank) and many sequences from strains of Lactococcus lactis, align them, and then carry out the McDonald-Kreitman test. Tell what software you used for the analysis and what your conclusions are.
